How to Play Classic Pool

The Goal

Sink as many balls as you can before the clock runs out. Clear the table, get a fresh rack, and keep going for your best score.

Shooting

• Drag anywhere on the table and pull back, like pulling back a cue.
• The dotted line shows where the white ball will go. The ghost circle shows where it will touch a ball, and the gold line shows where that ball will roll.
• Pull farther for a harder shot, then let go to shoot.

The Clock

• Each game starts with 2 minutes.
• Every ball you sink adds 4 seconds.
• Clearing the table adds 25 seconds and racks up all 15 balls again.
• If the white ball falls in a pocket, you lose 10 seconds and your combo. The white ball comes back near the bottom.
• If your shot misses every ball, you lose 3 seconds and your combo.

Pockets and Points

• Each ball is worth 100 points times the number on the pocket it falls into.
• One pocket glows orange and says HOT. It's worth double, and it moves to a new pocket after every shot.
• The pocket numbers shuffle every time you clear the table.

Bonuses

• ComboSink at least one ball on shots in a row. Each combo step adds 10% more points.
• Double / TripleSink 2 or 3 balls in one shot.
• Bank shotBounce a ball off a wall (not the edge of a pocket) and into a pocket.
• Table cleared+2,000 points.

Settings

• Tap ⏸ during a game to pause. The game waits for you, and counts down 3-2-1 when you come back.
