How to Play Turbo Racers

The Goal

Finish 3 laps ahead of your 5 rivals and take 1st place. Beat your best time on every track.

Controls

• Your car speeds up by itself.
• Hold ◀ / ▶ to steer and ▼ to brake. You can slide your thumb from one button to another.
• Hold BOOST for a burst of speed.
• On a computer: arrow keys or A / D to steer, Down or S to brake, Space to boost and Esc to pause.

Difficulty

• Pick Easy, Normal or Hard at the top of the track screen.
• Easy: full steering help and lane assist. A great place to start.
• Normal: half the steering help. Rivals drive cleaner lines and use Boost smartly. Earns more coins.
• Hard: no steering help. Rivals take the inside line, try to pass and boost on the straights and the final lap. Earns the most coins.

Boost and Lightning Orbs

• The Boost meter drains while you hold BOOST and slowly fills back up.
• Drive through the blue lightning orbs on the track to refill it fast.

Racing Tips

• Stay on the road. Grass and sand slow you down, and walls stop you from cutting corners.
• Brake a little before tight corners, then boost out of them.
• Watch the minimap to see the next turn coming.
• Bumping a rival pushes you both apart, so pass on the open side.

Coins and the Garage

• You earn coins for your finishing place in every race.
• Use coins in the Garage to pick a new car or color, then tap Drive or Use.

Settings

• Tap the gear on the title screen, or pause during a race, to open Settings.
• Turn music, sound effects and vibration on or off.
