The Basics
- Colored notes fall down 4 lanes. Tap a lane when its note reaches the ring at the bottom.
- Tap right on the ring for PERFECT. A little early or late gives GREAT or GOOD.
- On a computer you can also use the arrow keys or W A S D.
- New to the game? Tap How to play on the title screen for a short practice level.
Keep the Crowd Happy
- The Crowd energy bar at the top goes up when you hit notes.
- Missing a note, or tapping an empty lane, breaks your combo and lowers the energy.
- If the energy runs out, the crowd goes home. Try again!
Special Notes
- 🍌 Banana noteYour monkey gets extra chubby for a few seconds and you get bonus coins.
- 🔥 Fire noteThe stage heats up and your monkey hops around.
- 🔥 Flaming note with sparksStarts a CRAZY DANCE and gives big points.
Combos and Bonuses
- Hits in a row build your combo. Every 10 in a row raises your score multiplier, up to x5.
- Keep a streak going for a BONUS shake, when your points and coins are doubled.
- Bananas fly into your basket. Every 10 bananas gives you bonus coins.
Stars, Coins and the Shop
- Finish a level to earn 1 to 3 stars and coins. Higher levels give more coins.
- Spend coins in the Shake It Monkey Shop.
- Some special dances are unlocked with stars on the Star path.
- The Leaderboard shows your best scores on this device.
Come Back Every Day
- Open your daily gift in Goals. Come back on more days in a row for bigger gifts.
- Finish Today's goals to earn extra coins. A new goal shows up when you collect one.
Settings
- Tap the gear on the title screen, or the pause button during a level, to pause and open Settings.
- Change the music and sound volume, set your name or send us feedback.
- When you go back to a level, a 3-2-1 countdown gives you time to get ready.
